Please lift up Steven Curtis Chapman and his family in prayer, as they just lost their youngest daughter, Maria Sue, in a tragic car accident in their driveway.  The driver (in an SUV) was her older brother, who didn't see her.

Dear Lord, I can't imagine the sorrow for the whole family. I pray for the Chapmans and especially for the brother who must be hurting deeply. Maria Sue is in your loving care and so is her family. Just let them feel your presence in the days ahead as the shock wears off and they must deal with grief.

Father God, in Jesus' name we continue to lift up this family to You...and we praise and thank You that You never leave nor forsake us. We thank You, Lord for Your faithfulness...for all You are doing on their behalf as You guide them through this tragedy. We trust You, Lord, that Your unending love and grace and mercy will see them through...that Your grace is sufficient to meet all their need. Let Your peace that passes all understanding be their's today...in Jesus' name, Amen.
